Restoration of Eglise St-Joseph, Roubaix

During the recent DAS Tour to Northern France, the members had the special privilege of inspecting at close hand the impressive restoration work currently under way at the Eglise Saint-Joseph in Roubaix.  They were shown the church by the town’s Director of Culture, Gilles Guey. The church was designed by Jean-Baptiste Bethune, whose library and archives they had visited at Kastel van Maarke earlier.
