VISIT TO THE ROYAL COURTS OF JUSTICE
UK EVENT
Wed 29 Sep 2021
Described by Pevsner as ‘the greatest secular monument of the Gothic Revival in London after the Houses of Parliament’, the Royal Courts of Justice by G. E. Street (1882) remains the home of the High Court and Court of Appeal and is a remarkable survivor in terms of architecture, furniture, and fittings. The visit, led by David Wurtzel, will include access to courtrooms as the group explores the building and how it works.
