VISIT TO LINCOLN’S INN

Lincoln’s Inn New Hall and Library were designed in the Tudor style by Philip Hardwick, with a later extension by George Gilbert Scott. The splendid and intact early Victorian interiors, normally only accessible to members of the Inn, include a Pugin/Crace octagonal table which was shown in the Medieval Hall at the Great Exhibition of 1851 and G F Watts’ vast hemicycle fresco of law givers. Dunstan Speight, the Inn’s Librarian, will kindly lead the tour.
