St Mary’s Bourne Street, Belgravia
UK EVENT
Tue 12 Feb 2019
Our visit to St Mary’s Church in Bourne Street will be led by Rory McDonnell, an expert in this period. The church, completed in 1874, is typical of the many red-brick gothic Anglican churches built at this time as London expanded above and underground. The church became and remains a fine practising example of the Anglo-Catholic tradition. The event will conclude with a visit to a decorator’s premises in the nearby Pimlico Road.
