Private Visit to the Rodin Exhibition at the British Museum

Dr Ian Jenkins, curator of the exhibition, will lead a private tour of the British Museum’s special exhibition Auguste Rodin and the Art of Ancient Greece. This major exhibition represents a collaboration between the BM and the Rodin Museum in Paris. It tells the remarkable story of Rodin’s passion for the sculptures of the Parthenon. It looks at the sculptures through Rodin’s eyes, explaining their influence on him and exploring how they shaped his role in the beginnings of the modern art movement.
