FOREIGN STUDY TOUR

This 5-day tour will give members the opportunity to explore the treasures of Krakow, which was the heart of the Young Poland movement, and to see the context of the objects which were loaned to the exhibition at the William Morris Gallery and which the DAS supported. We will visit the great landmarks of art, architecture and decorative arts in the churches, museums and homes of the artists. The trip includes a day at the foot of the Tatras in Zakopane, home to many of the artists, writers and intellectuals of the day and a further treasure house of Young Poland architecture and decorative arts.
