JOHN LEWIS PARTNERSHIP HERITAGE CENTRE VISIT, SURREY

A visit to see the archives of the John Lewis Partnership which are now housed in a new centre. The archives include photographs, documents, merchandise, examples of the pottery previously made on this site and sold in the stores, and 30,000 different textile designs dating from the 1790s to the present. Designers include William Morris, C.F.A. Voysey and Lucienne Day. The Heritage Centre is located in Cookham, which will also allow participants the opportunity to visit the nearby Stanley Spencer Gallery.
